The best way to bounce back from a blowout loss? Inflict one on someone else.

That was the remedy for the Helias Crusaders on Tuesday night, as they ran out to a 19-2 lead and hammered the Kirksville Tigers 58-33 at Rackers Fieldhouse.

Helias coach Josh Buffington said he was pleased to see the way his team rebounded from a 64-40 loss Friday at Hickman.

"I thought the kids played like they had something to prove, like we did early in the season when we were defending," he said.
