WARDSVILLE, Mo. - The Fatima Comets rallied from a eight-point halftime deficit Saturday night to defeat the Blair Oaks Falcons 73-68.
Blair Oaks outscored Fatima 20-13 in the second quarter to take a 36-28 advantage into intermission. But the Comets answered with a 27-point third quarter and led 55-52 heading into the final period.
Tom Zeilman finished with 21 points to lead three Comets in double figures, Tanner Gentges added 19, while Patrick Schnieders chipped in with 16.
Fatima (10-0) is back in action Thursday at Hickman.
Brett Voss scored 21 points to pace the Falcons. Logan Gratz finished with 18 points for Blair Oaks, while Joey Bernskoetter totaled 14.
Blair Oaks (7-3) is back in action Friday in the back half of a boysgirls home doubleheader against Warsaw.
Fatima won the JV game 54-51.
Dominic Jamerson scored 16 points to lead Blair Oaks while Owen Luebbering added 10.
The Falcons are now 3-3 on the season.

In the girls varsity game, the Lady Falcons vaulted to an 18-6 advantage after one quarter and defeated the Lady Comets 53-41.
It was 28-17 at the half before Fatima cut the deficit to 39-34 after three quarters. But Blair Oaks used a 14-7 edge in the final period to pull away for the victory.
Amy Dorge finished with 11 points to lead the Lady Falcons. Amanda Rackers and Darian Werdehausen chipped in with 10 points each.
Kate Massman and Madi Huot had 11 points each for Fatima (6-4).
Blair Oaks (8-1) will host Centralia on Thursday.
Blair Oaks won the JV game 40-35. Amanda Emerson led Blair Oaks with 10 points. The JV team is now 5-3 on the season.
