Rock Bridge's Nick Norton completed a three-point play with 4.7 seconds left and Jefferson City missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer as the Jays fell 55-54 in the fifth-place game of the Joe Machens Great 8 Classic on Saturday afternoon at Fleming Fieldhouse.

"Obviously it was a good play on his part," Jefferson City coach Blair Thompson said of Norton's drive. "I'm a little biased, I thought it was a charge. You get some of those and sometimes you don't call-wise."

Norton, a junior who already has committed to Creighton, came up with the biggest of his team-high 20 points when it really mattered.
