Local Guardsman named new human resources officer

A local Missouri Army National Guardsman has transitioned from being the deputy of human resources to the director position at the Ike Skelton Training Site.

Lt. Col. Rodney Ginter, of Jefferson City, has served in the military for more than 26 years, has worked in the human resources department for more than five years, and has worked as the acting director twice while serving as the deputy.

"I'm looking forward to working as the actual human resources officer, where I'll be able to wear only one hat instead of two," Ginter said.
