ST. LOUIS (AP) - A suburban St. Louis woman has been sentenced to more than three years in prison for stealing more than $100,000 from SSM Health Care.
Sentencing was Thursday for 46-year-old Pamela Hoernschemeyer of St. Peters, Mo. She pleaded guilty in September to federal bank fraud charges.
Federal prosecutors say Hoernschemeyer was a supervisor at Lackland Acquisition II LLC, also known as Healthcare Strategic Initiatives and Nextgen Healthcare. Authorities say she submitted fraudulent check request forms to SSM, generating refund checks that she deposited into personal accounts.
Hoernschemeyer was ordered to pay restitution of nearly $136,000.
