Mike Farmer, a local businessman and developer, has bought the Capital Mall, according to papers filed Wednesday with Cole County.
The News Tribune reported the sale of the mall earlier this week, but the buyer had not been named.
Farmer couldn't be reached for comment Wednesday, and his development company, F&F Development, has not returned calls in recent days.
