The Helias Crusaders struggled to pick up dual wins. With three opens in the lineup at the Missouri Duals, that wasn't unexpected.

Some of Helias' better wrestlers struggled against the bump up in competition. That wasn't a bad thing.

"Knowing what we had coming in and missing some kids, there were a lot of hurdles we had to overcome," Helias coach Travis Reinsch said after the Crusaders went 2-5 and finished 11th in the 14-team event that wrapped up Saturday.

"It was a wakeup call for some of the guys as well. It's not like we're going to go to tournaments where we're going to have a bunch of pushovers and get great individual records."
