COLUMBIA, Mo. - Missouri coach Frank Haith likes his players to talk and communicate on the floor.
Talk on defense, help teammates through screens on offense and communicating at all times is part of the deal.
That's just not freshman guard Negus Webster-Chan's style though. Or at least it wasn't.
Webster-Chan, who moved into a starting role last month, had to step out of his comfort zone a little bit in order to move into his more prominent role with the Tigers.
"I was mostly quiet on the floor and let my game speak," Webster-Chan said. "Coach likes his players to talk and I'm talking now."
