Better effort sends Jays to wrestling victory

Jefferson City wrestling coach Phil Cagle said he wanted to see his team be more aggressive Tuesday than they were in the season opener last week against Lebanon.

After a hard week of practice, he got just that out of his team.

The Jays got solid matches up and down the lineup and rolled Camdenton 64-12 at Fleming Fieldhouse.

"We were much more aggressive than what we were last week," Cagle said. "We were very tentative last week. We were much more aggressive and took the fight to them."
