A museum dedicated to the Missouri State Penitentiary will be another venue to keep visitors in Jefferson City longer.
Bid information will be distributed this week for the work of building signs and printing graphics and photo panels.
The Jefferson City Convention and Visitors Bureau board along with the Discover Jefferson City Foundation have combined funding to create this new museum on the third floor of 100 E. High St.
