Grant to allow Vitae to advertise to Cardinal nation

April 27th, 2012 in News

Fred Bird was at Linn High School on Thursday, along with representatives from the Vitae Foundation, to create a buzz about and promote an essay contest sponsored by the foundation. Osage County high school students are invited to participate for a chance to win the top prize, four free tickets to the Cardinals game for Osage County Night at the ballpark on July 24. In addition to free tickets, they'll receive VIP treatment while at the game.

The Vitae Foundation will continue to spread its message of life to the "Cardinal Nation" with a grant from the Alphonse J. Schwartze Foundation for a second year.

Vitae will be able to advertise during 144 ball games on the St. Louis Cardinal's Baseball Network, which includes its flagship station KMOX and local affiliate KATI, and 117 affiliates in nine states.

The $57,500 grant includes branding commercials and an essay contest.

The essay contest is open to Osage County students who want to take a stand on life issues like abortion, bullying, elderly and child abuse, etc., and is being sponsored by the Vitae Foundation and the Alphonse J. Schwartze Community Foundation.
