Miller Co. man indicted for bank robbery

A Tuscumbia man was indicted by a federal grand jury Wednesday for the armed robbery and attempted armed robbery of First State Bank in Iberia and for the attempted armed robbery of Central Bank in Tuscumbia.

David Brian Krzysik, 48, of Tuscumbia, was charged in a four-count indictment returned by a federal grand jury in Jefferson City

The indictment alleges that Krzysik used a firearm in an attempt to rob First State Bank in Iberia on March 12.

Krzysik is also charged with using a firearm in relation to a crime of violence.

According to the indictment, Krzysik carried a Jiminez 9mm pistol during the robbery attempt.

Krzysik is also charged with using a firearm to steal $3,651 in the armed robbery of First State Bank on March 15.

On the same day, the indictment alleges, Krzysik used a firearm in an attempt to rob Central Bank in Tuscumbia.
