Jays, Lady Jays find success on the track

LIBERTY, Mo. - The Jefferson City Jays and Lady Jays ran away with the titles in the Jewell Relays held Friday.

On the girls side, the Lady Jays decimated the field by racking up 327.5 points. The second-place team in the eight-team field, Raymore-Peculiar, had just 103.5.

Jefferson City had two double-winners, as Napheesa Collier took first in the high jump and triple jump, while Kezia Martin won the long jump and 100-meter hurdles.

On the boys side, the Jays amassed 201 points to best the 10-team field, while secondplace Raymore-Peculiar had 156.5.

A.J. Miller was a doublewinner for the Jays, taking first in the 110- and 300-meter hurdles.
