Lincoln fourth, seventh

SMITHVILLE, Mo. - The Lincoln Blue Tiger women finished fourth and the men were seventh in the MIAA Golf Championships that concluded Tuesday.

The Lincoln women totaled a 680 in the 36-hole event.

Fort Hays State took women's team honors at 664, one stroke better than Missouri Western. Northwest Missouri (667) and Truman State (700) rounded out the five-team field.

On the men's side, Lincoln finished with a three-round total of 932 on the Outlaw Course at Paradise Pointe.

Central Missouri took team honors with an 877. Washburn was second at 881, followed by Missouri Western (900), Fort Hays State (907), Pittsburg State (908) and Missouri Southern (929). Southwest Baptist was eighth (978).
