Rep. Jeanie Riddle, R-Mokane, is sponsoring legislation that would designate Missouri 94 in Callaway County as the AMVETS Memorial Highway.
The legislation, known as House Bill 1878, passed the Missouri House 146-0 on March 28.
Riddle's bill moved then to the Missouri Senate and was approved Wednesday by the Senate Transportation Committee, which includes Sen. Mike Kehoe, R-Jefferson City.
