Their mission as a group of about 75 nursing students has always been to raise awareness and help others.
On Monday, members of SNA placed 100 pinwheels on the hill in front of Eliff Hall, hoping to spread the word about child abuse prevention, in conjunction with Missouri KidsFirst, Pinwheel's for Prevention.
Kayla Jones, third semester representative, said the pinwheel garden is in conjunction with the one at the Capitol, and is meant to help spread awareness about child abuse prevention.
