LEBANON - The Jays Kids Wrestling Club competed in the Missouri National Championships on Saturday and Sunday.
Here are the results from Saturday:
• 6-and-under - Cameron McKee, second.
• 10-and-under - Tanner Quick, fifth.
• 12-and-under - Brandon Backues, third; Zak Wilson, fourth.
• 14-and-under - Joshua Bayless, third; Cole Bax, sixth.
Here are the results from Sunday's novice tournament:
• 6-and-under - McKee, first; Julian Hooper, third.
• 8-and-under - Boston Howard, first; Elijah Teibers and Hurley Jacobs Jr., third.
• 10-and-under - William Berendzen and Michael Friederich, first; Shawn Jacobs, third; Joseph Schaefer, fourth; Clayton Hurley, fifth.
• 12-and-under - Dawson Paul, first; Corbin Rowland and Dakota Beck, second; Peyden Childress, fourth.
The club will host its annual tournament Saturday, with more than 500 wrestlers from across Missouri are expected to compete.
