WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. - The William Woods Owls fell twice Saturday at Williams Baptist, losing 3-1 and 8-3.
In the lidlifter, Kelsey Schulte (Eugene High School) had two of the six hits for William Woods. Lindsey LeCuru (Helias High School) chipped in with one.
In the second game, LeCuru had a solo home run and drove in another run to account for almost all of the Owls' production.
The Owls are 18-11 on the season, including a 4-2 mark in the American Midwest Conference.
