Lincoln University's Inman E. Page Library plays host to a traveling exhibit about Abraham Lincoln's presidency beginning Friday.
Titled "Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War," the exhibit examines how Lincoln used the Constitution to deal with three of the many crises imposed by the Civil War - the secession of the Southern states, slavery and civil liberties during wartime.
The exhibit will be displayed at LU's Page Library from Friday through Dec. 9. LU President Carolyn Mahoney and Debra Greene, head of LU's History, Political Science and Philosophy, will launch the new exhibit with an opening reception at 7 p.m. Friday.
