Home school cooperative: A sharing of talents

The classrooms at Memorial Baptist Church are filled on Tuesday afternoons this fall.

"Science You Can Eat," "What's Up With Them: Personality Types and Psychology," and "Drive-thru History: Character Series" are a glimpse of the course topics offered at the Jefferson City Home Educators Cooperative.

The philosophy of the program has remained the same. As home-school families, some topics are difficult to cover as individuals, said coordinator Stephanie Smith.
