This morning, ground will be broken on the first women's and children's center in Jefferson City.
The center will be located with Jefferson City Medical Group's existing facilities at 1241 W. Stadium Blvd.
The 20,000-square-foot building will house OB/GYN offices in 10,000 square feet on the first floor and pediatrics in about 6,000 square feet on the second floor, with about 4,000 square feet remaining for expansion, said Dr. Robert E. Wankum, president of JCMG Building LLC.
