Dear Editor:
A recent contributor made the statement that, "I don't think it irrational to believe that we may well expect our planet by the end of 21st century to have an average daily atmospheric temperature hot enough to melt lead."
Is he serious? Lead melts at 621.43 degrees Fahrenheit. He further states that "reputable climate scientists believe that 350 ppm of atmospheric carbon is the threshold limit causing runaway greenhouse climate effect that will ultimately result in death of life on earth."
I do not know what this individual is smoking, but he should change brands. Are these the same "climate scientists" that in the early "70s were predicting a coming "ice age?"
If you are an evolutionist, then you believe we had an ice age about 100 million years ago. Where did all that ice go? I guess we had global warming to melt it and we didn't even have man around burning fossil fuels which these "climate scientists" say would increase carbon in our atmosphere.
Man-made global warming is a scam perpetrated by those wanting to make a buck out of selling carbon credits.
There are some very well-minded people that have bought this foolishness hook, line and sinker.
You can fool all the people some of the time, some of the people all the time, but not all the people all the time. Figures don't lie, liars figure.
