INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Lindsay Whalen banked a fade-away jumper in with 1.6 seconds left to give the Minnesota Lynx a 66-64 win over the Indiana Fever on Friday night.

The Lynx bounced back from their fifth loss of the year to add to their WNBA-best record. Maya Moore finished with 15 points and Devereaux Peters added 13 in the win for Minnesota which is 25-5 this season.

The Fever watched their three-game winning streak come to an end. Tamika Catchings posted her eighth double-double of the season with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Briann January chipped in 16 points as Katie Douglas had 14.

January tied the game at 64 with just under 24 seconds left with a driving layup in the chest of the Lynx defender. Whalen nearly dribbled the clock out when she made the game-winner from 10-feet away.

SILVER STARS 90, STORM 66

SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Becky Hammon scored 25 points and the Silver Stars beat the Storm.

Sophia Young added 19 points and Shameka Christon had 13 for San Antonio (19-11).

Tina Thompson and Ann Wauters each had 12 points and Svetlana Abrosimova had 11 for Seattle (13-17).

Young scored 13 points in the third quarter, helping the Silver Stars take a double-digit lead.

DREAM 82 MYSTICS 74

WASHINGTON (AP) - Angel McCoughtry scored 26 points and Lindsey Harding added 19 to help the Dream rally from an 11-point third quarter deficit and beat the Mystics.

Atlanta (18-14), third in the Eastern Conference and bound for the playoffs, has won six of seven.

Monique Currie led Washington (5-26) with 20 points and Matee Ajavon added 15.

Washington's leading scorer, Crystal Langhorne, left in the second quarter with a left foot strain and did not return.

SHOCK 92, MERCURY 84

PHOENIX (AP) - Ivory Latta scored 11 of her 20 points in the fourth quarter to lead Tulsa past Phoenix.

Glory Johnson added 18 points and six rebounds as the Shock (7-23) snapped a four-game losing streak.

Lynetta Kizer had 19 points and seven rebounds for Phoenix (7-23), which has lost four of its past five.

Tulsa took advantage of 21 Phoenix turnovers, converting them into 25 points, seven of them in the final period.

The Shock ran off seven straight points midway through the fourth quarter to take an 87-78 lead with 3:20 left.

SPARKS 93, SUN 82

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Candace Parker scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Los Angeles over Connecticut.

Kristi Toliver added 18 points and Nneka Ogwumike had 17 points and eight rebounds as the Sparks recorded their eighth straight win at home to improve to 14-1.

The Sparks (22-10) remained two games ahead of San Antonio for second place in the Western Conference. San Antonio has two games in hand.

Tina Charles returned to the lineup for Connecticut and had 21 points and 13 rebounds for her WNBA-leading 17th double double. Charles, the league's leading rebounder and fifth-leading scorer, missed her first career game Wednesday with a groin strain.

The Sun (22-9) had only their fourth road loss of the season. They stayed a game and a half ahead of Indiana for first in the Eastern Conference.
