Helias beats Lebanon for third straight victory

Back to practice

Everyone would rather practice than play.

But after playing three straight days to start the volleyball season, it's time to go back to the practice court for the Helias Lady Crusaders.

"Now that we've had some competition, it's a good time to go back to work," Helias coach David Harris said after the Lady Crusaders fought to a two-game win Wednesday night over the Lebanon Lady Jackets at Rackers Fieldhouse.

Helias opened the season this week with relatively easy wins over Sedalia Smith-Cotton and Waynesville. Lebanon provided a much stiffer test as Helias posted a 25-20, 25-21 victory.
