Sometimes you have to artificially manufacture reasons to get up for games. This is not one of those times.

For the Blair Oaks Falcons, a prime incentive for Thursday's game at Montgomery County is a win provides the simplest way to guarantee themselves a spot in the state playoffs.

After dropping their district opener, the Falcons faced a must-win game last week. It's the same story this time around, and the Falcons are hoping for a similar result.

"At this time of year, you always end up at a point where you tell your seniors, you've got 48 minutes," Blair Oaks coach Brad Drehle said. "It's 48 minutes until the end of your career or 48 minutes until our next ballgame.

"You have to go out and play as though the next play is going to be your last one ever. That's the way we approach it and we started doing that earlier than we wanted to, but that's OK."

Blair Oaks (7-2 overall, 1-1 districts) will be trying to ruin Senior Night for Montgomery County (4-5, 0-2).
