After an initial delay due to stormwater issues, a proposed expansion to an Ameren electrical substation has been approved.
At a special Jefferson City Board of Adjustment meeting Tuesday, board members continued the case presented by Ameren two weeks ago, but had been stalled due to issues from a nearby resident with potential increased water runoff. The request from Ameren Missouri was for a conditional use permit to expand the electrical substation on St. Paul Street, which is an RS-2, low-density residential zoning district.
