Jays capture third at Borgia Invitational

WASHINGTON, Mo. - Despite holding out their top six runners, the Jefferson City Jays still took third in the Borgia Invitational on Saturday.

On the girls side, the Lady Jays had just one of their top six runners compete as they finished seventh.

Also at the meet, freshman Kaitlyn Shea paced Helias with a fourth-place finish as the Lady Crusaders finished second overall as a team.

The Helias boys did not field a team Saturday, but four boys participated as individuals. South Callaway also competed at the Invitational.
