A new play opening next week looks at six women in different stages of their lives, offering an opportunity to take a close look at everyday life from a woman's perspective.
Scene One Theatre will present "Bombshells" starting Oct. 20.
Director Eddie Andrews-Weider said the play features six women, each at a different stage in her life, performing individual monologues. Andrews said the women never actually interact with each other and the entire play is done in monologue form, spotlighting the personal struggles and issues each deals with every day.
Bombshells will be performed Oct. 20-22 and Oct. 27-29, with shows beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $10, with the exception of opening night, when all tickets are half-price.
