Even if the U.S. Supreme Court throws out the federal health care law's mandate that all Americans buy a policy, employers should be prepared to implement the rest of the law, about two dozen Mid-Missouri business representatives were told Tuesday.
"Part of it is that the implementation timeline is really tight," Ryan Barker, director of Health Policy for the Missouri Foundation for Health, told reporters after his presentation at the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce. "There is a lot in the Affordable Care Act that is left up to the states to implement. ..."
