I would like to correct some of what Mr. Meyers said in his Oct. 5 letter to the editor. At no time have I ever said that I believed in the theory of evolution. I said, "If you believe in the theory of evolution, where did all that ice go?"
I used this wording to show the complete folly of evolutionists in their attempt to insist that we have a man-made global warming crisis. The American public, along with many people throughout the world, have bought the theory of evolution, hook line and sinker when it is not based on anything close to science.
My analysis is not flawed, as I don't believe we have ever had an ice age and you can't show any scientific evidence provable in the lab that we have had an ice age. I believe that a Supreme Being (God) used intelligent design to create man in his own image. You and your ilk may have come from a monkey, but God did not use evolution to have man come from a monkey, he used the dust of the earth to create man-kind.
I am glad you were and hopefully still are a fiscal conservative, as I too have been for at least as many years as you. People can disagree about almost anything and do. It is totally different however to accept the theory of evolution as fact, when no one has ever proven that life began the way those that espouse this belief, say we came into existence. One can't prove, in the lab, that the Biblical account of creation was the way we got here, but there are fewer holes in that belief than in the theory of evolution. Evolution is based in part on flawed assumptions.
I am a born again Christian and believe the KJV Bible is God's word to English speaking people. I believe it is inerrant from cover to cover. In addition, 1 Corinthians 2: 14 states, "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." All sorts of individuals quote scripture, but some of those may not understand the meaning of the verses they use, as they are not spiritual, as defined by the Bible.
