Ryan Tanner got the second opportunity most kickers don't get. After barely missing a kick wide left at the end of regulation that would have given the Jays a 26-23 win, the senior stepped up in the second overtime.

This time the kick sailed through the uprights and gave Jefferson City a 33-30 double overtime win against top-ranked Rockhurst.

"I just didn't want to miss again," Tanner said.

The kick gave Jefferson City its first win against the Hawklets since 1999, a string of 12 straight losses.
