Man sentenced to prison for Cole County burglaries

Cole County Presiding Judge Pat Joyce recently sentenced a Jefferson City man to 10 years in prison for pleading guilty to two counts of first-degree burglary, one stemming from a July 12, 2010, incident and the other for an incident at the same home on July 25, 2010.

Kevin M. Nunnery, 26, of 927 Jefferson St., also pleaded guilty to a February 2010 charge of receiving stolen property and a March charge of felony stealing.

The two burglary charges stem from robberies at the residence of Ronald Scrivner, 14307 Route A.
