The special prosecutor who urged the Cole County grand jury to indict a Jefferson City man in connection with a fatal accident in August is the man's distant cousin.
But Osage County Prosecutor Amanda Grellner said Wednesday that won't affect how she treats the case.
On Tuesday, the grand jury charged Damien Bryan, 40, 2600 Bryan Lane, with two counts of second-degree murder and one count of driving while intoxicated, aggravated offender.
