Missouri Department of Transportation officials said work is scheduled to continue through mid-October in Cole County at the Route D intersection and in the Route E/West Brazito Road area as part of safety improvements at 12 intersections along 8.5 miles of U.S. 54 from Old Bass Road and Route CC.

The contractor has begun construction near the Honey Creek Road intersection, which will continue through late November.
