Webb City downs MICDS for Class 4 title

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Quarterback Breckin Williams rushed for four touchdowns, including a game-winning 76-yarder with 3:27 left, to lead defending champion Webb City over MICDS 56-42 in Missouri's Class 4 high school football title game Friday.

The state title was the third in four years and the 10th overall for the Cardinals (15-10), tying them with Jefferson City and Valle Catholic for the most in Missouri history.

Thomas Militello threw for 415 yards and five touchdowns for MICDS (14-1) as the teams set a Show-Me Bowl record with a combined 98 points.

Williams ran eight times for 144 yards as Webb City ground out 478 yards rushing on 40 attempts. Williams finished the day with just one completion in six attempts through the air, but the completion was a 25-yard touchdown pass to Kohl Slaughter.
