Holiday travelers and shoppers will enjoy mild temperatures in Mid-Missouri on Thursday and Friday. Unseasonably warm weather remains in the short-term forecast with colder temperatures returning to the region on Saturday.
Thursday's early morning fog dissipates to reveal cloudy skies through mid morning, then gradual clearing of the cloud cover, with a high in the low 60s.
Temperatures are expected to climb well above normal on Friday, with a high in the upper 60s under mostly sunny skies.
A cold front will move east across the region on Saturday bringing rain to most of the area. Colder air will move in behind the front causing temperatures to fall below normal for early next week.
