HANNIBAL, Mo. (AP) - It has been two years since Christina Whittaker went missing in the northeast Missouri town of Hannibal, and relatives are still hoping they'll get answer to what happened.

Whittaker was a 21-year-old mother who went out with friends on Nov. 13, 2009, and never returned home. She was last seen running out of a bar, crying. Her cell phone was found a few blocks away. Weeks later, a waitress at an all-night diner near Peoria, Ill., believed Whittaker was in the diner, distraught.

Since then, clues have been few. But Whittaker's mother, Cindy Young, told the Hannibal Courier-Post ( that she believes her daughter is still alive and will eventually come home.
