Josey, Whittaker done for season

COLUMBIA - Saturday was a bad day to be a running back at Faurot Field.

Missouri's Henry Josey and Texas' Fozzy Whittaker both saw their seasons come to an end due to injuries, and in Whittaker's case, it also means the finish of his college career.

Josey, the Big 12's leading rusher, had surgery on his left knee Sunday.

Missouri said the sophomore tore the patellar tendon and also had tears to the medial collateral and anterior cruciate ligaments, but doctors were confident Josey will make a full recovery. The timeframe for his return has not been determined.
