FULTON - Attorneys for the prosecution and defense agreed Monday that Sandra Plunkett, 38, will be tried in Callaway County for the New Year's Day murder of her husband at their home in Holts Summit.
Plunkett appeared before Callaway County Circuit Court Judge Gary M. Oxenhandler on Monday in a trial-scheduling hearing on a charge of first-degree murder.
Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney Chris Wilson told the judge prosecution and defense attorneys had agreed the trial would be in Callaway County if a jury panel could be chosen in another county and transported to Callaway County for the trial.
