Russellville was back at it again. This time around, it was a little bit easier.

A year after winning the state title by one point, the Lady Indians captured a second consecutive team crown at the Class 1 Cross Country Championship on Saturday at the Oak Hills Golf Center in Jefferson City.

Russellville took the team title with 86 points, beating second-place Salisbury by 13 points and making 2011 look like a cakewalk compared to 2010.

"It was better than last year," Russellville coach Craig Miller said. "That was a little too close for comfort last year."
