CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) - The father of a missing southeast Missouri woman says investigators told him they found Jacque Waller's purse and some of its contents during a search for evidence this week.
Stan Rawson told The Southeast Missourian (http://bit.ly/usk1JM) that authorities told the purse belonging to his daughter was found in a search conducted Thursday and Friday along Interstate 55 outside Cape Girardeau.
Authorities declined comment on evidence found in the search.
Waller disappeared in June. The area where her car was found had been searched after the disappearance, but this was the first opportunity police had to look over the area after a recent mowing.
No charges have been filed in the case.
