Cole County Collector Larry Vincent has announced that 2011 county tax bills will be mailed out on Friday.
Vincent said this year's 57,000 tax bills will have a different appearance and process than in previous years.
In previous years, tax bills were two parts, A and B, with both parts being returned with your payment. Once the payment was processed, the taxpayer was mailed back part A stamped "paid."
This year, it is only necessary to return the bottom potion of your tax bill.
