TORONTO (AP) - Aaron Hill hit his first career grand slam, Corey Patterson added a two-run shot and the Toronto Blue Jays routed the Chicago White Sox 13-4 on Sunday.
Patterson went 4 for 5 with three RBIs and has nine hits in two games. Edwin Encarnacion also homered for Toronto, which had a season-high 18 hits.
The Blue Jays have won 22 of 27 meetings with the White Sox, including 15 of 18 at home.
Ramon Castro hit a two-run homer, and Carlos Quentin added a solo shot for the White Sox, who have lost three straight and six of 10.
Blue Jays left-hander Ricky Romero (5-4) won for the third time in four starts, allowing two runs and six hits in seven innings.
White Sox left-hander John Danks (0-8) allowed a season-high nine runs and nine hits in four innings. He is the first White Sox pitcher since Eddie Smith in 1942 to start 0-8.

DETROIT (AP) - Justin Verlander took a shutout into the eighth inning as the Detroit Tigers beat the Boston Red Sox to get a split of a day-night doubleheader.
Verlander (5-3) allowed four hits and walked two in 7 2-3 innings, throwing a career-high 132 pitches. The pitch count matched the highest by a Tigers pitcher since Felipe Lira threw 135 on Aug. 11, 1996.
Josh Beckett (4-2) took his first loss since April 5 - his first start of the season. Beckett gave up two runs on five hits and a season-high five walks in six innings.
David Ortiz had a pinch-hit homer in the ninth inning off Jose Valverde (2-2) to give the Boston Red Sox a victory over the Tigers in the opener.
Ortiz, pinch-hitting for Jarrod Saltalamacchia, worked a full count against the Tigers' closer, then hit a line drive over the scoreboard in right-center.
Matt Albers (1-2) earned the win with two shutout innings of relief.
Rays 7, Indians 0
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) - Jeremy Hellickson pitched seven impressive innings, John Jaso homered, and Tampa Bay beat Cleveland.
Hellickson (6-3) scattered three hits, walked two and had six strikeouts. The right-hander has won five of six starts.
Jaso hit a two-run homer off Justin Masterson (5-3) as Tampa Bay went ahead 4-0 in the fourth. Ben Zobrist had an RBI grounder, and Sam Fuld hit a run-scoring infield single in a three-run fifth that extended the Rays' lead to 7-0.
Masterson, 1-6 in 11 career games against Tampa Bay, allowed seven runs, eight hits and five walks in five innings. He entered winless in his five previous starts - including two losses - despite a 2.80 ERA over the stretch.
Angels 6, Twins 5
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Erick Aybar had three hits and three RBIs and Dan Haren earned his first win since April 17 in Los Angeles' victory over Minnesota.
Haren (5-3) gave up three runs, 10 hits and one walk in six innings. Scott Downs got the Angels out of Haren's two-on, no out jam in the seventh inning to help Los Angeles take two of three in the series.
Mark Trumbo hit a 436-foot homer in the ninth, and Jordan Walden got his 12th save.
Carl Pavano (2-5) gave up five runs - four earned - and 10 hits with three strikeouts for the Twins, who dropped to a major league-worst 17-34.
Rangers 7, Royals 6
ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Mike Napoli slid under the tag of catcher Brayan Pena on Elvis Andrus' two-out single in the ninth inning, giving Texas a come-from-behind victory over Kansas City.
Nelson Cruz led off the ninth with a tying home run off Joakim Soria (3-2), who had his fourth blown save in 11 chances.
Napoli followed with a single and two outs later, he raced home from first on Andrus' single to right. First baseman Eric Hosmer's relay throw to the plate was in time, but it was high and Napoli slid under Pena's tag. Pena slammed the ball down after Napoli was called safe.
Alcides Escobar had given the Royals a 6-5 lead with a sacrifice fly in the ninth.
Arthur Rhodes (3-2) retired one batter for the win.
The Royals carried a 5-3 lead into the eighth, but Michael Young tied it for Texas with a two-out, two-run homer.
Athletics 6, Orioles 4
OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Josh Willingham hit a go-ahead three-run homer in the fifth inning, Daric Barton added an insurance run in the sixth and Oakland beat Baltimore to complete its first three-game sweep this season.
Kevin Kouzmanoff added two hits for Oakland, which extended its longest winning streak this season to four games. The A's topped Baltimore at home for the 12th time in 13 games.
Guillermo Moscoso (2-0) gave up five hits and two walks. Oakland got a boost from All-Star closer Andrew Bailey, who made his season debut after being sidelined with a strained right forearm. He pitched a scoreless seventh. Brian Fuentes earned his 11th save.
Zach Britton (5-3) was tagged for career highs of six runs and 10 hits.
Yankees 7, Mariners 1
SEATTLE (AP) - CC Sabathia allowed one run in eight innings, Andruw Jones lined a bases-clearing double to highlight the Yankees' five-run third inning, and New York avoided a three-game sweep with a win over Seattle.
Nick Swisher added his third homer of the season as the Yankees knocked around starter Jason Vargas (3-3). Vargas is the only Mariners pitcher this season to fail to go at least four innings.
Sabathia (6-3) won for the third time in four tries when pitching after a loss, allowing just two hits through five innings before giving up a solo homer to Justin Smoak in the sixth inning.
Sabathia won his sixth straight start against the Mariners and improved to 8-1 in 11 starts at Safeco Field. He's gone at least eight innings in his last three starts - all wins - and gave up five hits and struck out five.
