A Holts Summit man was seriously injured in a crash while riding a motorcycle on Saturday night in Cole County.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports Robert M. Neuner, 44, was heading southbound on Missouri 179 at Native Stone Road as he was passing a line of southbound vehicles which were following behind a Chevrolet Tahoe SUV driven by Tamara L. Hoerschgen-Harley, 39, of Centertown. The motorcycle struck the SUV in the rear of its driver's side as it was making a left turn.
Neuner was flown by helicopter ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia following the 7:35 p.m. wreck. A passenger in the SUV -- Roger E. Hartley, 39, Centertown -- received minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City, the patrol reported.
