Blair Oaks bidding for first district title in four years

Brian Patten, shown throwing to first for an out during Monday's win over North Callaway, and the rest of the Blair Oaks Falcons will take on St. Francis Borgia for the Class 3 District 8 championship tonight.
The Blair Oaks Falcons are on the verge of capturing their first district title since 2007.
Top-seeded St. Francis Borgia, ranked second in Class 3, stands in Blair Oaks' way as the two clash in the Class 3 District 8 Tournament title game at 6 p.m. today at the Falcon Athletic Complex.
