A change of venue has been granted in the case of Eldon man accused of killing his former girlfriend from Osage Beach.
This week, Camden County Judge Kenneth Hayden ordered the case of Kelly Simino, 43, be transferred to Laclede County.
Simino entered a plea of not guilty to the charge of second-degree murder in the killing of Brandi June Mathews.
Mathews was 24 when she disappeared in September 2006.
She had been missing for more than two years before her remains were found under a low-water bridge near Eldon in January 2009.
Authorities said the relationship between Mathews and Simino was frequently violent.
