Two in custody for Tuesday night robbery in Jefferson City

On Tuesday night at 9:58 pm Jefferson City Police Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Hickory Street for a robbery that had just occurred.

The victim, a 25 year old St. Martins resident and Pizza Hut delivery driver, told officers he had been robbed at gunpoint by three individuals.

During the investigation the officers were able to determine the location of the original phone call.

Officers went to a location in the 1000 block of Monroe St. and received consent from the resident to search the residence.

Officers located the pizza and pizza bag from the robbery and two suspects were taken into custody for robbery.

One suspect is a 19 year old Jefferson City resident. The other suspect is a 17 year old Jefferson City resident. Both suspects are in Cole County jail awaiting charges.

The investigation is continuing.
