Lincoln drops three games to Nebraska-Omaha

EMPORIA, Kan. - A change of scenery wasn't very friendly to the Lincoln baseball team Monday, as the Blue Tigers ended up on the losing end of three games with Nebraska-Omaha.

The first game was a completion of the second half of Sunday's doubleheader in Topeka, Kan., that was suspended due to snow.

It was resumed Monday morning at Emporia State's Glennen Field, tied at 2 in the top of the third. The Mavericks got the deciding run in the bottom of the fourth to post a 3-2 win.

Things weren't much better for the Blue Tigers is the third game, the opener of Monday's regularly scheduled doubleheader, as they had seven hits while falling 10-3.

In the final game of the series, UNO captured a 5-1 victory.
