Four decades after David Cassidy was the teen heartthrob du jour - before Justin Bieber's mother was even born - the 60-year-old singer/actor is still plugging away, excitedly juggling various projects.

Fresh off a short-lived stint on "Celebrity Apprentice," the former Partridge Family star will perform Friday night at the Isle of Capri Casino in Boonville.

Cassidy said his show covers his life starting at the age of 13, when he bought an electric guitar the day after seeing The Beatles - who he would later come to know - perform on the Ed Sullivan show.

Cassidy's show will take people through all his Partridge Family hits, solo hits and several acoustic numbers.

"You know, I really, truly am humbled by the enthusiasm and love that I get from people all over the world, and my fans have been just incredibly loyal," he said. "It's a wonderful, wonderful thing."
