Drug dog taps two cars at JCHS

Two male Jefferson City High School students, both 18, were found to have contraband in their vehicles on Tuesday morning.

According to police and school district reports, a search was conducted around 11 a.m. in a parking lot at the high school by a police K-9 unit, which found drug paraphernalia in the vehicles.

School officials said in instances such as these, students could get up to 10 days suspension and can be referred to the superintendent for additional discipline.
